Go-time.
As Katherine wrote in her last post, I (Andrea) have been given the privilege of updating you on her progress. She arrived at the hospital at 9 am with her parents. Shortly after, an elder at our church, Todd Johnson, came to pray with her, and Joy and Elizabeth came to visit. I was going to visit for the 10 o'clock hour, but barely got in two hugs and a laugh before they called her name. Since her restaurant-esque buzzer had not gone off, we assumed they just had some last-minute questions, but no, it was go-time. Earlier than expected and in good spirits, we sent Katherine and her mom to surgery prep. Prep may be about an hour (no one knows) and the surgery itself about 4-5 hours.
To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. Jude 1:24-25
