I’m just a girl trying – so imperfectly! – to follow Jesus through this life He’s given me. I’ve taken so many unexpected turns and ended up in places I never could have imagined, but through it all, I’ve learned that those things we think are derailing us will actually bring us closer to Christ and a more fulfilled life if we turn toward Him in our need.

In 2011, I started this blog to update friends and family on my health after a breast cancer diagnosis, but also use it to share my thoughts on life and faith. I’m now living with metastatic/stage four/terminal breast cancer and continue writing about life, cancer, and faith. It’s all grace.
