Test Results
I had shared my preliminary bone scan results on Facebook on Monday but didn't get the final results until last night. The preliminary result was that everything looked good, but the actual radiology report said this:
Impression:
1. Slight interval improvement in known metastatic disease within the T3 vertebra.
2. No new metastatic lesions are present on today's scan.
Findings:
Again seen focal area of markedly increased tracer activity within the T3 vertebra which appears mildly improved on today's study when compared to prior bone scan. Stable appearing hyperostosis of the skull which is a normal variant. No new areas of abnormal radiotracer uptake are seen.
In other words, no new cancer and what I do have looks slightly improved! I'll take it!
